After landing in Korranberg the party, and Kriv pass through customs while Neya uses her ambassador status to simply pass through. After finishing with customs Kriv escorts the party to The Library of Korranberg and while it is a sight to behold from the outside it is even more enormous from within. Kriv takes the party to the history section of the library and to the office of his friend whom he said he could help them with the prophecy. The party finds themselves in an office with many organised papers and scrolls taking up majority of the room. Kriv introduces his friend, a young woman by the name of Rose Arron and then returns to his own office leaving the party with her. The party asks Rose to decipher as much of the prophecy within The Spellbook as she can. The woman states it’d take her one to two days to decipher it, and asks to borrow the book. The party, feeling skeptical of leaving the book unattended, provides her with copies of the pages and asks if she could also decipher the coded portion of the book. Rose says she doesn’t specialize in codes and wouldn’t be capable of doing so, and asks the party to leave her to her work. The party then returns to Kriv at his office and asks for him to point him in the direction of somebody within the library that could help decode the spellbook. Kriv says that they can find a Gnome by the name of Reshen d’Sivis in the linguistics and arts department within the library and then returns to his work. The party eventually finds the office of Reshen, and after showing him two pages of the spellbook that had been removed by Kelani while she was in possession of the book he states he could possibly decode it after one or two days, but demands 20 galifars in payment. After reluctantly paying the gnome the money the party decides to leave the library and search for an inn and explore the marketplace within the city. After exploring the city and marketplace, purchasing mundane and magical goods, the party finds an inn known as The Wizard’s Axe and checks in to the place for the night after a night in the inn’s tavern.

The party awakes after a night in the tavern to find that Neya has run off on her own due to her own business. The party decides to head back to the library to check back in on Rose and Reshen and check in on their progress. Rose states that she needs another day with the prophecy to finish her findings and asks to return the next day, but Reshen states that he had managed to decode part of the coded pages and returns the papers to the party. After examining the pages the code speaks of the Daelkyr War and the Gatekeepers and makes mention of a “Key” and Xen’drik. The party decides to head back to the history department to do research on The Quori/Giant War, The Gatekeepers, and Xen’drik to hopefully find some new information. While making their way to the section however, they find a Gnome waving newspapers and speaking of an Aundarian Ambassador being found dead in their Sharn home. After further reading the newspaper the party discovers that Helais has been found dead, with no damage done to his body except for bleeding from his eyes, ears, and nose. After throwing ideas back and forth the party continues back to the history department, and after several hours of reading within the department find nothing of interest and head back to the tavern. After sitting at a table the party is approached by a gnome named Eldon who asks the party to help save his reputation as an artist from being ruined by lies of him faking his paintings, and his daughter from being forcefully married by another gnome called Nizam by taking Nizam out of the picture. The party agrees after being paid and at night breaks into Nizam’s home and captures him. Nizam tells the party they’ve been tricked and explains that Eldon has actually been making copies of his paintings using magic and selling them as the originals, and that he wanted to expose him and pays them triple what Eldan had to turn the proof into the newspaper. After leaving his house Thorn and Ratchet head to Eldon’s house to lie and stated that they had gotten rid of Nizam, but are discovered by him and are forced into combat against Eldon and three of his Iron Defenders. Thorn and Ratchet, now accompanied by Ashkhad and Rae after hearing the commotion, defeat the group, and head back to the tavern and sleep.

After sleeping the night away the party awakes and returns back to Rose’s office in the morning and she states she has discovered a bit reads them what she was able to discover:
The forces of fallen light
Descend upon break of night
The ancient ties are filled again
The heart’s darkness revived
Heartless fiends renew broken bonds
Returning all hearts to the shadow
The darkness grows to greater strength
In the center of Kingdom Hearts
After she finishes the prophecy she states that “Kingdom Hearts” is an old and forgotten name for the plane of Dal Quor, but states she’s not certain what the term “Heartless” means. Ashkhad confirms this, and states that the term is an old and unused name for the Quori. After this discussion, Neya appears back in the room and tells the party they need to leave Korranberg by the end of the day. Neya states The Royal Eyes have found their location, and after Helais’ death are determined to catch them due to Helais’ strong desire to capture them, and promises the party she didn’t tell them of their location. After hearing the party is leaving Rose states she is coming with the party to watch the prophecy unfold and quickly gathers her things and an impressive longsword from her room. The party returns to the inn the gather their things and discuss their next move. Neya states the spellbook is from Metrol in The Mournland and that it might be a good idea to head there, but also states that The Royal Eyes aren’t likely to deal with them in Sharn due to the public and that they could use Morgrave University to gather more information. Ashkhad brings up the idea of heading to Xen’drik and exploring there where the war took place and searching for Galinor, the man who gave them the prophecy over the year ago. The party ultimately decides to head back to Sharn and Morgrave, and then eventually leave and work their way to The Shadow Marches to learn about The Gatekeepers. As the party heads back to the docks to find a ship to head to Sharn they are greeted by the familiar face of Andres as they exit the inn. Andres states he’d be glad to follow them on an adventure, but states they won’t be taking Stormblade because he has recently sold it, but says instead they will be taking his new vessel, an unnamed airship back to Sharn instead. The party, now with Andres and Rose, embark on the airship and begin their journey back to Sharn, the City of Towers.
